Gratamira Consulting is a highly focused client/consultant experience.  The primary goal is to cultivate honest communication, a fluid relationship and collaboration between consultant, the client and the various divisions of the client’s enterprise. Client strategies are tailored to each company’s ethos, specific needs and vary in scale.  

Guillermo Zalamea spent 15 years at HL Group—first as a managing director, and then as partner—where he oversaw and grew the firm’s West Coast office. He directed high-profile accounts for clients like Embraer Executive Jets, Caruso Affiliated, and APL while also heading HL Group’s impressive Home & Interior Design division that included brands such as Crate & Barrel, Kelly Wearstler, and Waterworks. 

“I have great respect for individuals who have a love for brands; who can grow a very simple concept into a global business. The expert balance of art and commerce fascinates me. It’s what keeps me interested in this line of work,” he adds. “It’s what I hope to deliver in my own work.” 

In late 2016, Zalamea founded Los Angeles-based Gratamira Consulting, a communications firm focused on architecture & interiors, decorative arts, and product/industrial design.
